Project Manager - Midstream Oil and Gas
A growing engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager with experience in the energy sector. Current projects include oil & gas, COâ‚‚, hydrogen, RNG (Renewable Natural Gas), pipelines, and related facilities. This individual will play a key role in expanding the firm's energy practice by leveraging industry relationships and leading successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for energy infrastructure projects, helping drive growth and business development initiatives.
- Develop and execute project strategies aligned with client objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Manage project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and profitability.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement through the adoption of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Mentor and develop project managers and engineering staff while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing energy, oil & gas, hydrocarbon, pipeline, or related infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale engineering, construction, or infrastructure programs.
- Strong understanding of pipeline and facility design, construction, and operations.
- Proven business development and client relationship management abilities.
- Strong financial, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team development capabilities.
