Project Manager
Our client is a specialized OEM/system integrator focused on membrane filtration and industrial wastewater treatment. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, thorough, and organized. In this position you will manage large, complex wastewater treatment projects and filtration projects while overseeing financial budgets, coordinating contractors, and managing the construction process. You will also oversee overall project schedules, ordering and managing materials to manage and support the execution teams. Support during the bidding phase will also be required to assist with vetting contractors' bids and proposals. The PM is responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer's goals while protecting and promoting the interests of the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and other financial estimates.
- Coordinate, plan, and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors.
- Develop construction projects with architects, engineers, and trade workers.
- Order and manage materials and equipment.
- Provide internal reporting on project completion, with estimations to complete.
- Oversee and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments.
- Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
- Reviews various project documents through the preconstruction and construction process, coordinates internal multidiscipline engineering review of documentation.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a project manager, with wastewater project experience.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field experience.
- Experience in managing large wastewater projects.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Able to manage a team of employees and multiple projects.
- Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Goal-oriented and organized leadership
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
- In-depth understanding of the construction industry Self-motivated and self-directed Computer
Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and experience with Project Management software preferred. Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules. Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
