About the Opportunity
We are a leading provider of specialized ion exchange resin services, supporting a wide range of industries including power generation, refining, chemical processing, pulp & paper, and municipal operations. Our solutions help customers improve system performance, reduce operating costs, and extend the life of critical treatment assets.
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive growth across a multi-state territory. This is a field-based, relationship-driven role focused on identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and delivering technical solutions to industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow customer relationships across a defined multi-state territory
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
- Promote specialized ion exchange and water treatment service solutions
- Conduct on-site visits, technical discussions, and customer presentations
- Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to develop tailored solutions
- Prepare proposals, pricing quotes, and service agreements
- Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline within CRM systems
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a results-oriented professional who:
- Is self-motivated and thrives in a field-based, autonomous role
- Builds strong, long-term relationships with industrial customers
- Communicates effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrates resilience, persistence, and accountability in sales execution
- Is comfortable managing a large geographic territory
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in industrial, technical, or water treatment markets
- Familiarity with ion exchange systems or water treatment processes (preferred)
- Proven ability to develop new business and close deals
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing sales pipelines and activities within a CRM
- Ability to travel extensively (approximately 50-70%)
