The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects. This individual will work closely with internal leadership, external design partners, contractors, utilities, and subject matter experts to develop highly reliable electrical infrastructure supporting next-generation computing environments.
The position offers the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and technically complex projects in the industry while helping establish engineering standards and best practices across a rapidly expanding data center platform.
Responsibilities
* Support the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale data center projects
* Review electrical drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables
* Collaborate with internal and external project teams throughout design, construction, and commissioning
* Provide technical expertise related to power distribution, reliability, resiliency, and redundancy strategies
* Support the development of engineering standards and best practices across a growing portfolio
* Evaluate innovative technologies and solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability
Qualifications
* Experience designing electrical systems for data centers, mission-critical facilities, or other complex infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems
* Experience working for a consulting engineering firm, owner/operator, developer, contractor, or hyperscale organization
* PE license preferred but not required
* Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Passion for solving complex engineering challenges and building the infrastructure that powers the digital economy
