Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar and electrical infrastructure projects ranging from $3 million to $50 million. This role is responsible for managing all phases of project execution-from engineering and procurement through construction and final turnover-ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, under budget, and in full compliance with specifications and stakeholder agreements.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge, contract management skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across development, engineering, procurement, finance, and legal.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of project execution post-development through completion.
  • Manage project controls including schedules, cost tracking, and revenue forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality assurance, and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee procurement of engineering services, contractors, equipment, and materials.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including utilities and permitting agencies.
  • Resolve project issues and negotiate change orders with clients and contractors.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and reporting for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Support permitting and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Travel up to 25% for site visits, client meetings, and coordination with other offices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in utility-scale electrical infrastructure and solar projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Project/Construction Management preferred.
  • Strong understanding of solar systems, electrical substations, and distribution systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, Procore, and NetSuite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project execution.
