Structural Engineer
An established, employee-owned engineering consultancy in Dallas is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to investigate existing structures, identify the causes of deterioration or failure, and develop practical repair and restoration solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structural assessments and field investigations
- Evaluate structural distress, deterioration and performance
- Support forensic investigations and failure analysis
- Develop repair and restoration recommendations
- Prepare calculations, reports and construction documents
- Coordinate with owners, architects and contractors
- Manage projects and support client relationships
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience in structural design, assessment, forensics or restoration
- Knowledge of concrete, steel and masonry structures
- Strong analytical, communication and technical writing skills
- PE licence required
