Key Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment and growth of the Sacramento structural engineering practice.
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, owners, developers, and industry partners.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop structural engineering professionals.
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across projects.
- Serve as Principal-in-Charge and trusted advisor for key clients.
- Drive project delivery, financial performance, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with leadership teams across multiple offices and disciplines.
- Represent the firm throughout professional organizations and industry events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- California Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- Structural Engineer (SE) license strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Proven experience leading teams, projects, and client relationships.
- Strong business development and market-facing capabilities.
- Established network within the Northern California AEC community.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and leadership.
- Ability to inspire teams, develop talent, and create lasting client partnerships.
