Utility Project Manager
An established and growing electrical utility contractor is looking for an experienced Utility Project Manager to lead transmission, distribution, and substation projects throughout the Greater Boston area. This is an opportunity to join a respected team delivering critical infrastructure projects while taking ownership of project execution, client relationships, and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale utility and T&D construction projects from planning through closeout
- Lead project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control activities
- Coordinate construction operations, design, prefabrication, and field execution teams
- Drive project safety performance in partnership with the Safety Department
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying future business opportunities
- Manage project manpower planning and resource allocation
- Oversee BIM coordination and collaboration with internal support teams
- Execute equipment procurement, vendor management, and logistics planning
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in utility construction
- Experience with Transmission, Distribution (T&D), Substation, or Power Delivery projects
- Strong understanding of project fincials and contract management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
