Commissioning Agent
Our client is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team specializing in building performance, commissioning, and energy-focused projects throughout the New York City market. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, multifamily, hospitality, and office conversion projects, helping ensure building systems operate efficiently and meet design intent from turnover through occupancy.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the commissioning of HVAC, electrical, controls, and building automation systems, along with the ability to work directly with owners, contractors, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of commissioning, retro-commissioning, or building systems experience
- Knowledge of HVAC, BAS/controls, electrical, and energy-efficient building systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to participate in client and construction meetings
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Desire to build a long-term career within a growing organization
