Overview

We are partnering with a nationally recognized real estate development and advisory firm to identify an experienced Owner's Representative to support the delivery of mission-critical data center projects across key U.S. markets. This is a high-impact role suited to professionals with a strong background in construction project management, particularly within the data center, hyperscale, or high-tech infrastructure sectors.

The successful candidate will serve as the client's on-the-ground representative, ensuring that all aspects of the project-from design through to commissioning-are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Oversight

  • Represent the client's interests throughout the full lifecycle of data center construction projects
  • Lead coordination between design teams, general contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets

Contract & Financial Management

  • Administer contracts for general contractors and design consultants
  • Review and negotiate change orders, with a focus on MEP systems and technical scope
  • Monitor and report on budget performance, cost forecasting, and value engineering opportunities

Schedule & Quality Control

  • Track and manage project schedules, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
  • Conduct regular site visits and lead progress meetings
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and client specifications

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide weekly reporting and executive-level updates
  • Facilitate transparent communication between all project participants
  • Support client decision-making with data-driven insights and recommendations

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in construction project management, ideally in mission-critical environments
  • Proven track record acting as an Owner's Representative or in a similar client-facing role
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and data center infrastructure
  • Experience managing large-scale ground-up construction projects
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • PMP, CCM, or similar certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools and reporting systems
