Licensed Project Surveyor | New York
A well-established multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and geospatial consulting firm is seeking a Liscensed Project Surveyor to support projects across multiple offices throughout New York State. This is an excellent opportunity for a survey professional looking to take on greater project responsibility while working on a diverse portfolio of transportation, infrastructure, utility, and land development projects.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze boundary evidence and prepare accurate boundary surveys.
- Perform quality control reviews of survey plans, reports, and project deliverables.
- Complete survey calculations for subdivisions, roadways, utilities, building layouts, and site development projects.
- Coordinate field crews and office personnel to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to survey staff and technicians.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
What We're Looking For:
- LSIT or PLS certified.
- Strong experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
- 5+ years of surveying experience.
- Experience with survey production, boundary analysis, and project coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
