About the role
An exciting opportunity for highly skilled structural inspectors looking to combine their technical prowess with strong people management skills to oversee all aspects of their concrete repair construction projects. These will consist of multi-unit residential and condominium projects.
Key responsibilities
- Signing and sealing their work product and that under his responsible supervision.
- Performing and/or supervising 40 year re-certifications.
- Determining the cause, origin, and duration of reported damages. This involves daily trips to job sites (typically, single-family residences, condos) in the South Florida area.
- Scheduling site visits and travelling to field inspections, Special Inspections, and Threshold inspections.
- Completing sight investigation/ inspection reports.
- Types of damage routinely investigated include: structural damage, roof damage, moisture intrusion, interior water damage (plumbing and other causes), settlement and other foundation problems, construction defects, general building material failures, and all types of storm-related damage.
- Owners Representative
- Oversight of the engineering/management aspects of our construction projects (Concrete repair)
Requirements
- PE license in Florida
- Strong experience conducting Structural Inspections
- Experience in Forensic and Structural Engineering investigations of buildings
- SI License beneficial
