Water/Wastewater Project Manager

This is an opportunity to lead meaningful infrastructure projects while working alongside a highly experienced team serving public utilities and municipal clients.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, design, and delivery of a variety of water and wastewater projects including treatment facilities, pump stations, water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, conveyance infrastructure, rehabilitation programmes, and related utility improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through design and construction
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with internal technical staff, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Serve as a primary point of contact for municipal and utility clients
- Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Support business development efforts through client engagement, networking, proposals, and pursuit activities
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Support construction phase services including submittal reviews, RFIs, change orders, and coordination with field staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence preferred or ability to obtain
- 8+ years of experience within the municipal water and wastewater consulting industry
- Experience managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, collection systems, or distribution networks
- Strong understanding of project delivery, engineering design, and construction administration
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
