Data Center Site Manager (Hong Kong)
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and long-term development of a critical data centre facility. This senior leadership role combines operational oversight, team management, infrastructure planning, and customer-focused service delivery to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient environment.
- Lead and manage site operations to ensure high levels of facility reliability and performance.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, fire protection, and building management systems.
- Develop capacity plans and support facility growth initiatives.
- Manage site budgets, operational costs, and infrastructure investment projects.
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams across operations and engineering functions.
- Coordinate and manage external service providers, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, security, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident response and recovery activities to minimise operational disruption.
- Support customer onboarding, infrastructure provisioning, and ongoing service requirements.
- Oversee physical security processes and maintain appropriate controls for site access and information protection.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to key stakeholders.
- Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, Business, or a related field.
- Significant experience managing data centre operations, critical facilities, or similar technical environments.
- Strong understanding of power, cooling, building systems, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Experience leading technical teams and delivering complex projects.
- Knowledge of capacity planning, risk management, business continuity, and operational governance.
- Strong financial, vendor, and contract management skills.
- Professional certifications in data centre operations, project management, or related disciplines are advantageous.
