Key responsibilities of the Project Manager | Commercial Construction include:
- Lead day-to-day project management activities throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, and financial performance.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement activities, and contract administration.
- Partner closely with the Superintendent to ensure schedule, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
- Maintain strong relationships with university representatives, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
- Drive project scheduling efforts and monitor progress against key milestones.
Key requirements of the Project Manager | Commercial Construction include:
- Experience working for an established general contractor.
- Large-scale commercial, education or industrial work required.
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field position.
- Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Experience utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.
