My client, a nationally recognized leader in infrastructure and engineering services, is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects in the Des Moines, IA area. This role offers the opportunity to manage the full lifecycle of small-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, with a focus on municipal and community infrastructure.
Role Overview
As Project Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of project delivery-from planning and design through procurement and construction-ensuring performance, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate third-party contributors, and play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk for small EPC/service projects
- Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities
- Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and quality standards
- Support staffing and team leadership across disciplines
- Foster client engagement and pursue repeat business opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in water/wastewater or related infrastructure
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (flexibility offered after 90 days)
- Must meet pre-employment screening requirements
