Senior Civil/Structural Engineer
Overview
Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy known for tackling technically complex challenges across infrastructure and industrial systems. They are brought in when projects require deeper analysis, stronger engineering judgment, and solutions that go beyond standard design approaches.
Their work supports clients operating in high consequence environments, where performance, safety, and long-term reliability are critical. The team is made up of experienced engineers who are recognized for their technical depth and are trusted to solve problems that are often ambiguous or highly specialized.
This is a senior-level position that blends hands-on engineering with project leadership and client interaction. You will have ownership of your work, direct exposure to clients, and the opportunity to shape both technical outcomes and project direction.
Position Overview
You will operate as both a technical lead and a project manager, responsible for delivering complex structural engineering work while guiding clients through problem definition and solution development.
The role is suited for someone who enjoys working on challenging systems rather than repetitive design, and who is comfortable stepping into a more visible, client-facing position.
Over time, this role can expand into broader technical leadership, mentoring, and deeper involvement in client relationships and repeat work.
