A nationally recognized architecture, engineering, and design consulting firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing MEP team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design and delivery of complex industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, commercial, and advanced facilities projects for clients across North America.
What You'll Do
- Lead electrical design efforts from concept through construction
- Design and oversee power distribution, lighting, grounding, low-voltage, telecommunications, and security systems
- Perform and review electrical calculations, code compliance analyses, and system studies
- Coordinate closely with architectural, mechanical, structural, and technology teams
- Develop construction documents, specifications, and BIM models
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and site visits
- Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings during construction
- Mentor junior engineers and designers while supporting quality assurance initiatives
- Manage electrical scope, schedules, and project deliverables
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 7+ years of experience in building systems electrical design
- Experience leading projects within industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, commercial, or similar sectors
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, IBC, and industry standards
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM workflows
- Experience with SKM, ETAP, or equivalent electrical analysis software
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
