We are partnering with a growing engineering consulting firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to lead the design and delivery of complex building systems projects. This is a highly visible role offering technical leadership, client engagement, project management responsibilities, and mentorship opportunities within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for commercial, healthcare, higher education, aviation, government, and institutional projects.
- Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, security, and low-voltage systems.
- Manage projects through all phases, from concept and design through permitting, construction, and closeout.
- Perform construction administration activities including site visits, submittal reviews, and punch list development.
- Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical guidance and quality oversight.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of electrical design experience within the consulting engineering industry.
- Strong experience with power, lighting, emergency generation, fire alarm, and building systems design.
- Proficiency with Revit and multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Proven ability to manage projects, maintain client relationships, and lead engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
- Healthcare, higher education, aviation, government, hospitality, or commercial project experience.
- Design-build and fast-track project delivery experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
