Salary: $155,000-$215,000 + Bonus(s) and Profit Sharing
A well-established general contractor operating throughout Oregon is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major Heavy Civil and/or Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects. This is a strategic leadership role for a professional with deep industry knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality public and private sector work.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale heavy civil and water/wastewater projects.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
- Lead subcontractor management and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Mentor project engineers and junior staff to support team development.
- Drive project profitability and client satisfaction through proactive leadership.
Experience Required
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater construction project management.
- Proven success managing infrastructure projects such as treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, roadways, bridges, or site development.
- Experience with public works, municipal contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong background in field operations, estimating, and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in project management and estimating software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, HCSS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites across Oregon.
