Structural Engineer
Our client is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team near Waukesha, WI. This is a great opportunity to join a respected infrastructure firm working on impactful civil projects across the region.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze bridges, retaining walls, and support systems using concrete, steel, and timber.
- Engineer deep foundation systems for specialized applications like solar fields.
- Develop structural plans and construction documents within project timelines.
- Provide technical support during construction and respond to inquiries from contractors and agencies.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver complete structural solutions.
- Support additional engineering tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; structural focus preferred.
- PE and/or SE license strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Civil 3D, Midas Civil, RISA 3D, and similar tools is a plus.
- Solid understanding of structural design principles in heavy civil applications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
