Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee land surveying projects from proposal through completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients and maintain strong relationships
- Lead field and office survey operations, including boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA surveys
- Coordinate crews, schedules, deliverables, and project budgets
- Review survey data, calculations, plats, maps, and legal descriptions
- Support school construction projects and other public-sector developments
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to survey staff
- Assist with residential and commercial surveying projects during slower periods as needed
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Qualifications
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Proven experience managing land surveying projects and client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge of surveying principles, procedures, and industry standards
- Experience with topographic, boundary, construction, and development-related surveys
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with industry-standard survey software and equipment
