Carbon Project Manager - Nature-Based Solutions

Location: APAC preferred | Remote considered with time zone overlap

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Carbon Project Manager to join our growing team focused on delivering high-integrity, nature-based carbon removal projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of nature-based carbon projects, from feasibility through to monitoring and verification.
  • Ensure alignment with leading carbon standards (e.g., Verra, Gold Standard) and maintain rigorous documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with field teams, technical experts, and implementation partners to ensure projects are grounded in local realities and best practices.
  • Contribute to internal strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement across the project portfolio.

About You

  • +7 years of experience in carbon project development, ideally in nature-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of carbon methodologies and standards, with the ability to apply them in practical, field-based contexts.
  • Demonstrated experience working in remote or logistically complex environments.
  • A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across the full carbon project lifecycle.
  • Background in forestry, ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with project development in Southeast Asia, India, or Australia.
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones, particularly with teams in APAC and Australia.
