Key Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates for heavy civil work, especially underground utilities (stormwater, sewer, watermain).
- Review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and compile accurate cost data.
- Manage subcontractor/vendor quotes and support bid strategy.
- Assist with proposal preparation and preconstruction planning.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of utility work and civil drawings.
- Experience with estimating software (e.g., HeavyBid) preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
