Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Project Engineer (PE Licensed) to support the execution of geostructural projects throughout Texas.

Position Summary

The Project Engineer will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of geostructural construction projects from award through completion. Working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, field personnel, and clients, this individual will help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with experience in geotechnical construction, deep foundations, earth retention, or geostructural systems who is looking to take on greater project responsibility while working on challenging and high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the delivery of geostructural construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
  • Review geotechnical reports, construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and resource planning.
  • Work closely with field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and engineering teams.
  • Prepare and review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project costs, quantities, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Assist in developing construction methodologies and technical solutions for complex project challenges.
  • Participate in client meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Support quality control and quality assurance efforts across all phases of construction.
  • Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety on all project sites.
  • Assist with project forecasting, reporting, and closeout activities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 4+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, geostructural engineering, specialty foundations, or related construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of earth retention systems, deep foundations, and geotechnical construction methods.
  • Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred

  • Experience with specialty geotechnical contractors or heavy civil contractors.
  • Design-build project experience.
  • Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar engineering software.
  • Previous client-facing project management experience.
