Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical)
Position Summary
This role is part of the Instrument, Control, and Electrical (ICE) team, responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of all electrical maintenance activities at the LNG Terminal. The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of technicians and contractors to ensure compliance, reliability, and quality in electrical systems and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with safety protocols, as well as local and international electrical standards.
- Supervise and lead electrical technicians and contractors in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Develop and oversee structured on-the-job training programs for E&I team members.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks on electrical work to ensure standards are met.
- Review and approve electrical isolation, excavation, and other related permits.
- Lead investigations into electrical maintenance issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop and execute maintenance programs aimed at improving equipment reliability.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings focused on safety and effective execution of maintenance tasks.
- Participate in emergency response activities and fulfill assigned roles during such events.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years (or 15 years for diploma holders) of supervisory experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
- Strong expertise in low and medium voltage systems, power transmission, network communication, motors, CCTV, security systems, earthing, lightning protection, and PLC systems. Familiarity with DCS is a plus.
- Currently based in Singapore
