Overview:
Seeking a strategic and experienced engineering leader to oversee the planning, design, and development of electrical and fiber systems. This role is responsible for guiding infrastructure improvements, managing technical operations, and leading a high-performing engineering team to ensure long-term system reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of system studies including load forecasting, long-range planning, and construction work plans.
• Oversee the design and modification of electrical and fiber facilities, ensuring compliance with current codes and industry standards.
• Define material specifications and manage procurement processes to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise inventory operations and ensure accurate tracking and competitive sourcing of materials.
• Support and develop engineering staff through training, mentorship, and performance management.
• Coordinate protective device settings and ensure proper maintenance of distribution equipment.
• Manage engineering software platforms such as GIS, SCADA, OMS, EA, and fiber network tools.
• Prepare and oversee contracts and technical documentation for construction and system improvement projects.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers experiencing power quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or Associate's degree in a related technical field with 15 years of experience and formal training in staking and design.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
