Base Salary: $135,000-$185,000 + benefits
A well‑established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee earthwork and utility projects in the greater Woodinville, WA area. This role will focus on managing civil scopes including mass grading, underground utilities, and site development work from preconstruction through project close‑out.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing self‑perform or subcontracted civil work and is comfortable coordinating field operations, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
Experience Needed
- Project management experience on earthwork and/or underground utility projects
- Background with site development, including mass grading, excavation, storm, sewer, and water
- Experience working for a general contractor or heavy civil contractor
- Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Experience coordinating with field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and owners
- Familiarity with local jurisdiction requirements and permitting processes preferred
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in civil construction project management
- Strong understanding of earthwork quantities, utility sequencing, and production planning
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple scopes, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
