Position Overview
The Senior HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise and a commitment to high-quality service.
The position is ideal for candidates with a strong commercial background, particularly those experienced with advanced HVAC systems, while remaining flexible to support residential work as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform service calls, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems
- Communicate clearly with customers and provide detailed recommendations
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition
- Collaborate with office staff and field teams to deliver strong customer outcomes
Equipment Experience (Preferred)
- VRF / VRV systems (Mitsubishi, LG, Trane, Daikin, Carrier)
- Rooftop Units (RTUs)
- DOAS systems
- Exhaust systems
Requirements
- 4-10+ years of HVAC service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in indoor/outdoor environments
- EPA Certification and HVAC License preferred (or ability to obtain)
