What You'll Do

  • Design structural systems for industrial facilities, including equipment supports, foundations, and building structures using steel, concrete, and masonry
  • Collaborate with process, electrical, and architectural teams to deliver fully integrated solutions tailored to client needs
  • Contribute to design decisions that keep projects moving forward-on time and within budget
  • Participate in field investigations and site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data
  • Prepare and review construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Gain exposure to project coordination and team leadership, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as you grow

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
  • EIT certification required; PE license or ability to obtain is a plus
  • 0-6 years of structural engineering experience, ideally in industrial or commercial sectors
  • Experience with structural analysis and design software (e.g., RISA, STAAD, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in working in industries such as pulp and paper, food processing, and manufacturing
