The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you'll be involved in the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of a variety of structures supporting municipal and industrial infrastructure projects.
You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, provide technical solutions to complex structural challenges, and support projects throughout design and construction phases.
The team is open-minded on background and experience. While infrastructure, water, or wastewater experience would be beneficial, it is not required. Engineers from building design, transportation, bridge engineering, industrial, or other structural disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software
- Design concrete, steel, masonry, and other structural systems
- Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents
- Review drawings and coordinate with internal engineering teams
- Participate in project meetings and client interactions
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and field investigations as needed
- Support construction administration activities
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 2+ years of structural engineering experience
- Experience performing structural analysis and design
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred but Not Required:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
- Experience with water/wastewater facilities
- Bridge engineering background
- Experience with structural rehabilitation or industrial facilities
- Familiarity with structural analysis and design software
