About the Company
A rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company is building GPU supercomputers for leading AI labs, enterprises, and government organizations. The team is lean, driven, and focused on delivering world-class performance and reliability across its global data center footprint.

The Role
The VP of Data Center Operations will lead global data hall operations, overseeing infrastructure, on-site technicians, and operational teams across multiple high-density facilities. This executive will set strategic direction, manage capacity and cost structures, and ensure operational consistency and excellence across all sites.

Responsibilities include overseeing data center expansions, migrations, and critical maintenance, developing operational processes and standards, minimizing downtime, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement across all functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global data center operations across multiple facilities
  • Set strategic direction and drive operational excellence
  • Oversee incident response, change management, and critical maintenance
  • Align with design and construction teams for seamless expansion and upgrades
  • Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics
  • Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and business continuity planning
  • Drive a customer-centric approach and operational consistency globally

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in data center operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership
  • Experience managing >20MW facilities and scaling operations globally
  • Proven ability to lead through growth and transformation
  • Strong execution mindset with financial acumen
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Preferred: Experience with GPU clusters, HPC environments, or hyperscale/cloud infrastructure
