Wet Utility Superintendent - Hammonton, NJ
A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on utility and transportation infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a strong field leader with experience in underground utilities, guiderail installation, and heavy civil construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
- Manage crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Coordinate utility installation and transportation infrastructure work
- Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
- Work closely with Project Managers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Enforce safety standards and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in heavy civil construction
- Strong background in underground utilities, guiderail, roadway, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- OSHA certification preferred
