Role Description

We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Account Executive to help grow our presence in the building automation and HVAC controls market.

This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical side of HVAC/BMS systems and the relationship-driven side of sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with building owners, engineers, and MEP contractors
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the region
  • Understand project specifications, HVAC systems, and building automation requirements
  • Work with clients to develop solutions for controls and system needs
  • Prepare bids, proposals, and RFP responses
  • Manage job booking and internal project documentation
  • Create and manage change orders as projects evolve
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and market activity

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in Building Automation (BMS/BAS), HVAC, or related industry
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
  • Experience working with engineers, design firms, or contractors
  • Familiarity with communication protocols and open systems (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close business
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Previous estimating or bid management experience
  • Knowledge of platforms like Niagara, Distech, or similar
