The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join an established consulting engineering team in a senior technical leadership capacity.
This position is ideal for a civil engineer seeking the responsibility of signing and sealing project documents while providing technical oversight across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects. Rather than focusing on departmental management, the role is centered on engineering excellence, quality control, mentorship, and project delivery support.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of site development, municipal, and infrastructure projects throughout Central Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Sign and seal engineering plans, reports, and construction documents.
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across project deliverables.
- Review engineering designs, calculations, reports, and permitting documentation.
- Support project managers and engineering staff throughout project execution.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
- Contribute to municipal, infrastructure, and land development projects across the region.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong background in civil engineering and site development projects.
- Experience reviewing, approving, and producing engineering plans and construction documents.
- Experience with public-sector, municipal, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Desire to take on increased technical responsibility within a growing consulting environment.
