I'm partnering confidentially with a nationally established organization to identify a Vice President to lead the development, delivery, and growth of major justice and public-sector capital programs.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who brings more than traditional construction or project management experience. The ideal candidate understands the entire development lifecycle and can advise public-sector clients from early planning and strategy through design, procurement, construction, activation, and operational readiness.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex, large-scale justice, corrections, detention, public safety, civic, and government programs
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior government and public-sector stakeholders
- Guide programs from initial strategy and planning through design, procurement, construction and occupancy
- Build consensus across owners, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Develop and expand executive-level client relationships
- Identify new opportunities and contribute to long-term market growth
- Help grow a regional presence while mentoring and developing senior project and program leaders
- Represent the organization in high-level client discussions, presentations, and industry settings
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of experience within program management, owner's representation, architecture, engineering, construction, development, or a related field
- Track record delivering large, complex public-sector or institutional capital programs
- Strong understanding of the full project and development lifecycle
- Justice, corrections, courthouse, detention, public safety, or broader civic/government experience strongly preferred
- Executive-level client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting business development, market growth, or client expansion
- Ability to navigate complex political and organizational environments while building consensus
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
