This role is ideal for a Superintendent who enjoys leading crews, taking ownership of challenging projects, and serving as the key field leader responsible for safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction. Projects include commercial buildings, parking structures, façade rehabilitation, waterproofing systems, structural concrete repair, and other specialty restoration work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field crews across multiple active commercial construction projects
- Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and material deliveries
- Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Conduct quality control inspections and maintain project documentation
- Communicate directly with clients, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Troubleshoot field issues and make real-time decisions to keep projects moving
- Mentor field personnel and help build high-performing teams
Ideal Background
- Superintendent experience within commercial construction
- Experience with restoration, waterproofing, concrete repair, masonry, façade, or building envelope projects
- Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
- Comfortable reading plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- OSHA knowledge and commitment to jobsite safety
