The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for...
- Designing HVAC and mechanical building systems for a variety of commercial, healthcare, residential, and institutional projects
- Preparing engineering calculations, load analyses, equipment selections, and system layouts
- Developing construction documents, specifications, and technical reports
- Coordinating with architects, owners, contractors, and other engineering disciplines throughout project delivery
- Participating in field visits, site surveys, and construction administration activities
- Supporting projects from early design through construction while ensuring quality and code compliance
The Mechanical Engineer should have the following...
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical/HVAC design within a consulting engineering environment
- Experience with HVAC systems, load calculations, equipment selection, and construction document preparation
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and industry-standard design software
- EIT certification or progress toward professional licensure is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
