An established regional GC is seeking a Project Director to join the team in Tampa Bay. This position will play a key role on a multi-million dollar building and is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a flagship project that will redefine the city's skyline.
Key responsibilities of the Project Director | High-Rise Construction include:
- Lead project teams through preconstruction, execution, and delivery phases.
- Define and oversee project staff roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
- Promote a strong safety culture by leading by example and ensuring full implementation and ongoing compliance with corporate safety programs.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including PMs, superintendents, and field crews.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee preparation for quarterly management and financial review meetings in coordination with the operations manager.
Key requirements of the Project Director | High-Rise Construction include:
- Large-scale commercial or high-rise construction and design expertise.
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field position.
- Strong understanding of all aspects of construction management, including safety, risk mitigation and control methods.
- Demonstrates exceptional business judgement by consistently delivering profitable outcomes and achieving successful project closeouts while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Mentor and develop project management and field leadership teams.
