Position Overview
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will play a key technical and leadership role in geotechnical project delivery across Florida. This individual will oversee complex investigations, mentor junior staff, lead client relationships, and support continued expansion within the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Conduct and oversee subsurface investigations, laboratory testing programs, and engineering evaluations.
- Prepare and sign geotechnical reports, engineering recommendations, and technical deliverables.
- Provide QA/QC review on geotechnical analyses, foundation recommendations, retaining structures, pavement assessments, and earthwork design.
- Manage client relationships and support business development initiatives across Florida.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and field staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across environmental, civil, and structural groups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- PE license in Florida
- 6+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong technical background in soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, earth retention, and geotechnical reporting.
- Proven experience managing projects, budgets, and client communications.
- Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
