Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, permitting, and construction of water/wastewater projects from concept through completion
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk management
  • Prepare technical reports, design documents, and specifications
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure project success
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations
  • Stay engaged in industry trends, technologies, and professional organizations

Qualifications
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater infrastructure
  • PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred:

  • Degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience managing municipal infrastructure projects in Virginia
  • Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods
