Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, permitting, and construction of water/wastewater projects from concept through completion
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk management
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, and specifications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure project success
- Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations
- Stay engaged in industry trends, technologies, and professional organizations
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater infrastructure
- PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred:
- Degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience managing municipal infrastructure projects in Virginia
- Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods
