Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Inspector to join an established engineering team in Tallahassee, Florida. This permanent role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant projects in the transportation and water sectors while fostering professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality results on time.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspection reports and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports based on the inspections carried out.
Required Skills:
- CEI Experience: Proven expertise in Construction Engineering and Inspection processes.
- Transportation Sector Insight: Strong understanding of transportation projects, particularly within Florida.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must have two (2) years of related experience in construction inspection; one (1) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection.
- Understanding of FDOT construction project administration methods and processes including but not limited to training in MAC, BlueBeam, Hummingbird and Site Manager programs.
- CTQP Certification in Asphalt, Concrete, Earthwork, pile driving and drilled shafts are required.
