The Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of municipal and industrial infrastructure projects, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive and flexible environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and deliver water and wastewater conveyance and utility projects, including system upgrades and relocations
- Support engineering studies and design efforts across collection systems, distribution networks, pumping stations, and treatment-related infrastructure
- Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, including stormwater analysis, gravity systems, and pressurised pipelines (force mains and water distribution systems)
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates
- Assist with construction phase services, including site visits, submittal reviews, and contractor coordination
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring quality and timely project delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce drawings, conduct code compliance reviews, and support integrated project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater conveyance engineering within a consulting environment
- Strong understanding of local and state design standards and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience in civil design for treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
- Proficiency with industry software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS), Revit, and hydraulic or process modelling tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders
