About the Project:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field operations on a high-profile $100M+ wastewater treatment plant project in the Quad Cities. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of complex civil, mechanical, and process-related scopes in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily field activities for crews and subcontractors across multiple disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical).
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to maintain schedule and quality.
- Monitor productivity, resolve field issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and material tracking.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Participate in planning meetings and contribute to look-ahead schedules.
- Mentor and train crew members to promote skill development and team cohesion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy civil or industrial construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience on wastewater or water treatment plant projects, preferably over $50M in value.
- Strong knowledge of concrete structures, piping systems, process equipment installation, and related disciplines.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Experience with union labor coordination.
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
