Position Overview
The Director of Civil Engineering will lead a team of project managers and engineers, oversee a portfolio of civil engineering projects, and play a key role in business development. This leadership position requires a balance of technical expertise, team management, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and project managers.
- Oversee engineering design, report preparation, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes.
- Develop and maintain client relationships; lead proposal and budget development.
- Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements.
- Drive business development and strategic growth initiatives.
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures.
- Support staff development through performance reviews and mentoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive engineering and leadership experience.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required; multi-state licensure preferred.
- Proven experience in land development and municipal projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; familiarity with permitting processes and land use codes.
