Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client relationship management, marketing efforts, and business development initiatives
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and subconsultants to ensure quality delivery and financial performance
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering staff and junior project managers
- Support leadership with workload forecasting, resource allocation, and operational improvements
- Oversee proposal development, interviews, and contract negotiations
- Promote continuous improvement in project management practices, quality assurance, and technical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license (multi-state licensure preferred or ability to obtain)
- Typically 10-15+ years of experience managing infrastructure projects for public-sector or similar clients
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
- Strong leadership experience in staffing, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
Compensation
- Estimated annual salary range: $180,000 to $225,000 , based on experience and qualifications
- Overtime compensation may apply in accordance with applicable policies
- Eligible for performance-based bonus programs
