Director - Digital Forensics & Investigations

A nationally recognized digital forensics and cyber investigations firm headquartered in Atlanta is seeking a highly qualified professional to join its leadership team. We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record in client development and technical delivery within the digital forensics space.

Position Summary

The candidate will be responsible for leading complex digital forensics engagements, managing key client relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of the practice. The ideal individual will bring a history of generating $500K or more in annual revenue, along with a reputation for delivering high-quality investigative and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage digital forensics and investigative engagements, including data breach analysis, insider threat investigations, mobile and cloud forensics, and litigation support.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to law firms, corporations, and government agencies on matters involving digital evidence and cyber risk.
  • Develop and expand a portfolio of client relationships, with a focus on sustainable revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance service offerings, operational efficiency, and market positioning.
  • Mentor and support junior professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and client service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in digital forensics, cyber investigations, or related advisory services.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and manage a book of business exceeding $500K annually.
  • Recognized credentials such as EnCE, CCE, GCFA, or similar are preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience providing expert testimony is advantageous.
