EIC Engineer - Pipelines (Oil/Gas/Utilities)

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Engineering

  • Develop electrical design packages: one-lines, grounding, lighting, cable routing, and panel layouts.
  • Perform calculations (load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, etc.).
  • Specify equipment (e.g., switchgear, VFDs, transformers).
  • Support procurement and system studies using tools like ETAP or SKM.

Instrumentation & Controls

  • Assist in creating I&C documentation: loop diagrams, I/O lists, control panel layouts.
  • Support development of control philosophies, datasheets, and network diagrams.
  • Coordinate with vendors on instrumentation and control systems.

General

  • Participate in site visits, data collection, and construction support.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams and interface with clients and vendors.
  • Contribute to proposals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field (ABET-accredited).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and engineering software.
  • EIT certification preferred.
