EIC Engineer - Pipelines (Oil/Gas/Utilities)
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Engineering
- Develop electrical design packages: one-lines, grounding, lighting, cable routing, and panel layouts.
- Perform calculations (load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, etc.).
- Specify equipment (e.g., switchgear, VFDs, transformers).
- Support procurement and system studies using tools like ETAP or SKM.
Instrumentation & Controls
- Assist in creating I&C documentation: loop diagrams, I/O lists, control panel layouts.
- Support development of control philosophies, datasheets, and network diagrams.
- Coordinate with vendors on instrumentation and control systems.
General
- Participate in site visits, data collection, and construction support.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams and interface with clients and vendors.
- Contribute to proposals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field (ABET-accredited).
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and engineering software.
- EIT certification preferred.
