A leading vertically integrated development firm is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee multi-family development projects across Florida, and the Southeast. This is a unique opportunity to join an in-house engineering team where your leadership directly influences the full project lifecycle, from site assessment to construction completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design teams in producing construction plans, technical reports, and permit documentation.
- Serve as Engineer of Record for civil site development projects.
- Oversee QA/QC of construction documents to ensure compliance with internal and jurisdictional standards.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff; support recruitment and team expansion.
- Manage project schedules, workloads, and coordination with municipalities, consultants, and contractors.
- Provide construction administration services including inspections, shop drawing reviews, and pond as-built verification.
- Attend public meetings and support rezoning and permitting efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering practices and team operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in civil site design and permitting.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida (required).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydraflow/ICPR, WaterCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Smartsheets.
- Strong expertise in grading, stormwater, erosion control, and utility design.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
