Location: Richmond, VA
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of heavy civil construction projects including site development, utilities, roadwork, and infrastructure
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise
- Support estimating and preconstruction efforts when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects
- Strong understanding of sitework, grading, utilities, and DOT standards
- Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
